Viper Island is very near to Port Blair and was the site of the old Jail. It has nothing much to see or explore.

Prisoners were kept here before Cellular jail was built. They were also hanged here for capital punishment. You just get to see ruins of jail and gallows here. The ferry ride to the island from Port Blair jetty is also exciting.

We were able to visit the island on a special boat, but Viper has really nothing to offer other than an old building used to hang people by the British. Strike it off your list.
