The Phoenix Bay Jetty located in Port Blair at the mouth of the harbour is the boarding point for people wishing to take the ferry to Havelock island. A few improvement in the basic amenities is needed here to make the place more tourist friendly.

It's just a jetty.... Mostly people visit for taking boat to/from port Blair to Havelock or Neil. One need to walk for about 5 mins from main road to reach to jetty area. Carry your ticket and I'd card. Security at the entrance will allow...More

This is the place to board your cruise to Havelock and Neil. It has both private and govt ferries going from here. Looks clean beautiful.

The view is just awesome here. You have to visit this whenever you go to havlock or neil. If travelling with children, always held their hand as boundary was not there

We travelled Havelock from this jetty.One need to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the ticket for entry in this jetty.The entry gates are controlled by CISF.The approach road is good and cruise offices are nicely maintained.

The place is ok. It can be cleaned and maintained well, family with kids have to be careful while walking on the jetty.

you don't have a private boat. I tried and it's not reliable. Book through the govt run ferry and few private ones. . Reliable safe and mostly punctual. You can book online. Book in advance to avoid surprises. Check the... More
