Ms.Madhu Votteri is quite helpful in providing all the required information patiently even at the wee hours only to help the genuinely interested one to soak in the heritage of Hyderabad; Equally dedicated are the guides, specially Ms.Raeez who has provided lots of nuggets and insights into Nizams era during our walk tour. Telangana tourism is indeed promoting the service.... More

Our guide is extremely knowledgeable and shares many details and anecdotes on the building and history of Hyderabad while walking through town, from the Charminar. The walk lasts a few... More

The walk starts at 7.30 Am and we are supposed to report to the site (There are 4 routes, all start from Charminar). The walk is conducted by senior officials of the ASI who have deep knowledge about the history of the Hyderabad. The cost is Rs. 50 and breakfast is served in the end.

This place is the most crowded and congested location in Hyderabad. Good to see the Charminar, jamma masjid and bangle shops. Commuting to this location is a nightmare in Hyderabad traffic. Narrow roads, auto-rickshaws occupy most of the road, even we cannot walk in between the vehicles. Good Heritage place to see in Hyderabad, but don't expect the easy commuting.... More
