Charminar is a monument built in 16th Century. It is one of the wonders of Medieval period still standing erect in Hyderabad. This monument has four pillars and hence it is called Charminar. The architecture of the monument is fantastic. Charminar is made of granite, limestone, mortar and marble. Musi river is located close by.

One of the beautiful structures; stands as an emblem of Hyderabad city. The area is much crowded and preferable choices of commuting to the area is either 2 wheeler or by bus. Generally Cabs avoid coming to this area because of crowd and traffic. Entry fee of some nominal amount is charged for visiting the monument.

Significant architecture and landmark but sad to see the conditions it is in. Govt needs to get a little innovative on how to preserve such an iconic landmark by reducing the traffic in close vicinity and cleaning the entire areas as well the Charminar itself! People have inked their names within the Minars which is so shameful!

Really theCharminar is an ancient place for the visitor in the world. The Nizam dynasty builds the historical monument.
