This is one of the biggest river in India, located in the city of Guwahati, sweet water, in the middle of the river Umanadh temple is there, where one can go by a motor boat, around the Brahmaputra river there are temples surrounded.

Brahmaputra is a huge beautiful river situated in Assam with a very long bank. When I visited Guwahati I walked down to this river. There is a temple in the middle of Brahmputra called Umanand, which is a Shiv Mandir.

Assam without visiting Brahmaputra River is futile. This mighty river certainly will amaze you for its vastness, one could easily pass an hour or two by cruising a boat or sitting on the banks .
