Located the bustling Ashram road, this is a small oasis of peace and tranquility. It has the place where Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba lived, a sovnenir shop and a museum, all in a clean rural environment.

Poorly managed in parts. If you ignore the management you would be delighted from a history lesson point of view.

It's gandhiji a ashram. Gandhiji stayed here for long time and also did various struggles from here only.

I am 38 years of age. Since childhood I had a dream to visit Sabarmati Gandhiji Ashram, it was a unique experience, happy to visit this place with my family, they r very excited and happy to visit this place.

First thing ashram is well maintained.We get to see history through models place there.Also thoughts of Gandhi which are great.Must visit place.

Set up In!918, on the banks of the Sabrmati, is a place of tranquility. This is the abode Where Gandhiji lived,experimented with animal husbandry,agriculture and khadi And launched the Dandi march in 1930. Timings-10-30am-5-30 pm,Monday closed

Cant confirm timing, can assume office timings. And, yes Camera is allowed.

Thanks for visiting Trip Advisor. For tourist Gandhi Ashram does not have accommodation but can stay at Toran Hotel run by tourism department located next door.
