It was really an awesome experience to be there, the guide was friendly and place was a typical heritage to visit. Great history of India, other places of Vadodara are to be must visited, city is full of history and culture.

There is not much fascinating here. Very less crowded place. Go only have ample time to spare otherwise do not go.

The palace used to be a property of His Highness Gaikwad. Its now been maintained and secured by Indian Air Force. They have there Unit Administrative Building. The building is timely given wear and tear to keep it exactly the same way it is suppose to be. Been around the palace and its a charm of art.

it is good as in terms of its landscape and geography. It is pretty peacful and artistic also but worth visiting only once.

This palace is the only one in Makarpura..its a palace where moghuls came in 1000AD ...for historians

This palace now houses the offices of the Indian Air Force and entry of public is restricted. The structure is highly impressive.

It was built by Maharaja Khende Rao in 1870, designed in the Italian style. It was extended and renovated by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III.

It was built by Maharaja Khende Rao in 18th century and architecture is based on Italian style. Renovated by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad.

As Vadas Codara wapital of Gayekwad Rulers, there are so many Palaces in Vadodara beacause they were big and rich ruler also. Makarpura Palace was built by Maharaja Khande Rao in 1870 and further renovated by Maharaha sayajirao-3. Now here is training School of Indian Airforce and hence not opened for public View but one can see just from outside.
