Professional bird watchers will perhaps better, but Sultanpur may rank only 2nd after Bharatpur in areas around Delhi for bird watching. Dirty place. No water. Stagnating pools, long grass, dilapidated trees. No sight of any birds. Wasteful visit. Can be made a beautiful tourist spot if the state and centre wishes. Called to be a National bird sanctuary.

Sultanpur national Park is filled with different types of birds. One can find very rare birds here. There are other animals as well like deer and monkeys.

Run as soon as it'll open to get decent shots of paradise flycatchers. a must visit for every birder. I used to visit on weekly basis but now it's been more than six months. Will visit soon again.

You can take a walk here and this is a great spot for some photography. The birds are distinctive if you have the knowledge about them. Easily accessible from the metro station and some cool eateries around in Mehrauli area
