Used to be hot springs near river satluj. Recently the river became a lake because of Kol dam hydel power project. The view has drastically improved. The still water lake looks too good at this place.

Tattapani was once popular for hot spring. But there is no hot spring there now. The sutlej river flows quietly and the rafting for familiy is good. There are not many exciting rapids as compared to rafting in hrishikesh, kullu manali or ladhak.
