Locally known as (Bead Masjid) meaning Grand Mosque is the largest in the J&K State with excellent architecture and a beautiful view of the fountain in the middle of the mosque. It has got the feel the peace and the calmness you would like to have in the middle of a chaos. Must Visit in J&K

This impressive mosque is one of the largest in Kashmir, and is built almost entirely of wood. As one enters, the mass of columns is impressive, then it is comprised of a series of courtyards. Part is restricted for prayer only, therefore for Muslims, but nevertheless it is well worth a visit.

The Mosque is from the Mughal era from about 13 century. The architecture is very impressive and grand. We visited during the day which was what my guide told the best time to visit. There is also a good market there for shopping of dryfruits etc.

Located at Nowhatta, this is a very famous mosque in srinagar ... One of the oldest this is a important location to pay visit by tourists... The architecture is unique and it requires almost 2-3 hours to visit this place...
