Charar-e-sharif was perfect located spot for the tourists and the locals. It was surrounded by pine trees and walnuts trees with a small river flowing.

A place which was regarded sacred by both hindus and muslims of the valley, Chrar e Sharif town in Budgam faced the wrath of radicals in 90's The whole town was burnt down. This shrine lies on the picturesque road to Yousmarg

We visited this place on our way to Yousmarg. It's a religious site. The interiors are very nice. the woodwork done is very good. Can be visited if you are going towards Yousmarg.

Charar-i-Sharief is considered one of the most sacrosanct Muslim shrines in India. It is situated approximately 28 km from Srinagar, en route to Yusmarg. The Shrine of Charar-i-Sharief is approximately 600 years old. Popularly known as the "Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali".

People go in search of Apple Orchards, Beautiful Valleys and all. Dont understand why this Dargah is being glorified. Found it pretty ordinary place.
