Yana is a village located in forests of the Kumta, Utttara Kannada district of Karnataka, which is known for the unusual karst rock formations.A shivaling is worshipped inside the Yana caves (naturally formed).long walk to reach this place.

It is an amazing place to visit You need walk barefoot to go inside the cave Need to walk at-least a mile from the parking area Shops are available only for snacks.. Enjoy the rock view!

Drove from Satwick Home stay, Devanalli, Sirsi. Abt 17km. Went first to Vibhuti falls that is another 10km from Yana. Waterfall is cute. Has a short 600m climb and clean cool water with lots of fish that will give u a pedicure for free. Frm...More

One of the beautiful places in U.Kannada, well maintained roads. The vehicles need to be parked 500-700 mtr away from rocks. A quality forest, complete shaded road. The facility by tourism dept is Mind-blowing.

From parking lot you have to walk 1km. Bath rooms are there near parking lot. Stone in falls is bit slipery. Life gourds will be there to assist.

It may rain in Yana but not much. But can go there you can also go to Vibhuti falls 10 km from Yana rocks.From Sirsi side you can go 1/2 km have to walk from parking lot.
