The Bangalore Palace was the private residence of the royal Wodeyar family. Built to resemble Windsor Castle, this quirky palace is filled with an interesting and eclectic collection of art and paraphernalia from a bygone era. The palace grounds are a popular venue for rock concerts and other music events.

Had been here at around noon on a Saturday. Ample car park available on an open ground. It was obviously very sunny outside but the palace itself was quite cool. The entrance fee is a bit high but they offer audio guides with it so...More

This is the main and famous tourist attraction of bangalore. It is a bit overly priced place to visit. The entry ticket per person is Rs.230 and we had taken a still camera ticket which cost us around Rs. 685. We thought the interiors will...More

Exterior is awesome without any doubt, but interior is exactly opposite. The place has become quite commercial. Avoid it rather wasting your time.

It's a place worth to see once, it looks grand from the exteriors and you need to buy a entry ticket to view inside the palace, the place is used for flamboyant weddings.

Very impressive from outside.... beautiful facade and gardens. The inside is terrible...musty and cobwebs Mostly decorated with old paintings of dubious value... chipped and peeling. Looks like they've taken the junk nobody uses any more and placed it here and there. Not even real antiques.
