The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

thank god this lake did not fall in to the hands of politicians or builders. This is located right in the middle of the city. Good for morning and evening walks

Well situated in the heart of the city is the largest lake body surrounded by lush green trees and a walk that you can do that will keep you charged and refreshed. The best to be here is early morning around 6.30 AM.

Water is dirty and stinky. Huge maintenance required. Only one side of the lake is still alright but rest in bad shape. Parking at your own risk adjacent to main road. Boating is for namesake. Been to Udaipur(Rajasthan) is way better in terms of lake...More

One of the biggest lake in the city, having a bigger space for the evening time passer's and couples. If you want to sit and enjoy a nice lake view evening, it's a must place.

Bangalore used to be a city full of open natural lakes. many of them have died down with the advent of urbanization. this particular lake is still preserved though reduced to a small pond.
