The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

Located in the heart of the city - near MG Road. One of the largest lakes in Bangalore. Has a very good side walk for walking, jogging and running or just for relaxation.

Try visiting it during the early hours of morning if you are interested to spot some birds and photograph them. Cool breeze and serenity of the place can be enjoyed in the morning hours. The lake has several islands within it. Surrounded... More

its nice place to walk. However, the upkeep could have been better. Also, there is too much traffic all around the circumference of the lake which makes you inhale pollution inside the park.

I have been there several times, its good place to spend leisure time and it have park too, you can sit around. Boating is good, you can circle around the small island in the middle, at the time of my visit(June-2016), boating is not available. Lots of localities are fishing there. You can get a average foods and ice-creams.

Over the years I have seen this Lake cleaned up, the boundary strengthened and overall development of the lake which has made it a scenic place worth a visit.

Track needs to be more smooth and the extreme end near gurudwara is covered with filth and garbage which stinks big time!
