It's more of an outpost made by Tipu Sultan to guard the entry into the river. Take a photograph and then take the ferry to Tannirbavi beach.

This place is majorly used for taking ferry to go opposite side of back waters to tennirbavi Beach to reach the beach side. Ferry is available at ₹5 per person per ride. You can take good pics over here.

It's just a watch tower and view of the backwater. The place doesn't have any good labelling or description about its history. The only reason why anybody might come here is to board the ferry to go to the Tannir Bhavi beach

Wish the local government spent some time and money on the upkeep of SB. It's pretty dirty, especially where the boats dock.

Myself and my wife visited in last week. This place is beautiful but not maintaining well. We can take a ferry ride to tannir bhavi beach at ₹5. Tannir bhavi beach is beautiful beach you can prefer this beach than panambur beach.
