Although a little crowded, this is an important collection and should not be missed if one wants to appreciate the culture and heritage. The building itself is a work of art. I admire the commitment of George Thaliath without whom so much would have been lost.

A great collection of cultural artifacts. Not much information given about objects - the guides tended to just read off the plaques to you! But nice to just stroll around and marvel at the craftsmanship.

Stuffed with cultural objects collected by one man. Fascinating array of folkart, religious artefacts and antiquities set in a building which reflects 3 architectural styles. Lovely staff.

A place to visit if you have half a day to spare. Lot of artifacts on display. The entry fee of 100rs is overpriced. The ladies who help and explain pay more attention to guests they think would tip more.

Easily accessible, very nice to stroll around. The ground floor is a bit packed, but other floors are worthwhile looking. Nice if you don't have much time

It was a last minute decision to visit this museum. We were not supposed to visit but thank god we didn't skip the visit. The building is so good in design and its a piece of art by itself. The facade is very beautifully designed and is very welcoming. The place is stuffed with many artefacts and you can spend... More

Three floors of antiquities going back to 16th century. Quite a way from Fort Cochin (1/2hr Rps700 return) by tuk-tuk. An experience in itself. Some great pieces, not behind glass but right there in front of you.

The small and chockfull Folklore Museum is a special place. It is culled from one private collection. There are introductory guides and some fascinating work inside.
