We visited on 28/12/22. Small water falls on the river Chalayar. Just 200 meters walk from the entrance. Just you can watch and enjoy..

Easily accessible by roads, Kozhippara Falls are situated on the borders of Kakkadampoyil on the Malappuram -Calicut District divide. Providing a stunning sight, these falls are best known for its friendliness to swimmers and trekkers.

An evening visit is most suitable here and it will make you energetic
I was with my family and it is better to visit so. And it is a place to just sit and watch the beuty of nature and good for trackingas there are a lot of small peacks around it and even to swimm in the cold and clear water . The water is lies in the deep rocks which are slowly powderd and floats due to the fastly falling water occured becauseof thousands of years. And it is a good place to visit . I think my review will healp you .

Kozhippara watterfalls is one of the best waterfalls in Kerala, about 24kms from Nilambur. It is situated at Vallamthod.Just like most other waterfalls, it is abundant in natural beauty and the whole ambience is peaceful and tranquil. Apart from the scenic view of the waterfall, the visitors can indulge in other activities such as trekking and swimming. Many different birds can also be spotted here. Needless to say Kozhippara waterfall makes a very good picnic spot.

Kozhippara is nestled in the kakkadampoyil area which is a 1.5 hour drive from calicut.

We took the NIT mukkom road which was well maintained. Last patches were rough so be aware on the road.

It is a steep ghat climb which was best enjoyed on our Jeep. Carry food and beverage provisions as there are very few options up top.

Do not go high on expectations . It is a pleasant drive with some cool views and a waterfall. There are no tea plantations or coffee plantations dotting the road but you will find a long stretch of greenery and a couple of snake sightings if it's your lucky day.

We were a group of friends visiting from calicut and we wrapped up the trip point to point within 5 hours.

The waterfall runs a majestic full strength in monsoons and summers it comes down to a trickle.. so do enquire the road and falls condition before you leave.

This is the kind of place where you would like to vacation.

Home stay options are limited though it would be fun away from the commercialized hill stations around.

The water falls are good.I had visited in summer, so there was not much water in the falls.
But during nov-jan it will be awesome.
Rocks are slippery. You have to be extremely careful.
But dont plan exclusively to this spot.Make it one among your spot.
