Next to the Kandariya Mahadev temple is the Devi Jagadambi temple. The temple is on a high platform as like the Kandariya temple and hosts Goddess Parvati. This temple also hosts excellent sculptures.

All the temples in the western group are stories in themselves. It is tough to say which one is better. But the theme emains the same

This is part of a temple group in a national reserve. There has been part restorated but tastefully done. The friezes on the outside are extraordinary with some damage and parts missing as would be expected. Other reviews detail the Hindi relevance of the temple so i wont go on Well worth the visit.

Definitely come here. This is one of the must see sights in the world. Thank goodness unesco are helping to restore them. The carvings are incredible and so amazing that they have survived so intact and distinct for so long. Spend about 1-2hrs here walking around and looking at the carvings. Only 5% of them are erotic so enjoy all... More

Walking along the platform on the North Side of the Kandariy Mahadev temple leads directly to the Devi Jagadamba temple. While the Kandariy temple is designed in such a way that circumabulation is possible inside, in Devi Jagadamba temple its not possible. The outer walls again are replete with statues and inner sanctum sanctorum has a statue of Parvati.
