If u are visiting Alibaug you should visit JANAJIRA FORT. is 40 kilometres away from the city and u have to hire a vehilcle. the roads are very narrow so it take 2 hours to reach there And some areas auto and taxi only goes...More

Janjira fort is pretty interesting to visit though the approach is by boat only hence looks unsafe with small kids. If you can spend then better to have a guide which don't cost very high & will make your visit more interesting. Maintenance is poor...More

This is very beautiful place. the place is in a sea. Murud-Janjira is the local name for a fort situated on an island just off the coastal village of Murud, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India.
