It is a real scenic if one travels from Pune to Bombay by Road and that too early morning. One can feel the freshness if you stop at Lonavala the highest point on the way. You can see monkeys jumping and view the birds eye view of Mumbai once called Bombay.

Great place for hiking or just lazing around, great pictures. awesome with the family too. A drive to Sahara Valley is great early morning or a trek to any peak is fun.

The mighty western ghats are difficult to miss when entering or leaving Pune city. The best time in the year to enjoy the place is during the monsoon months when the greenery is at its peak. Even at other times, the place is worth stopping by for admiring mother nature
