The sprawling, lush green 18-holed Shillong Golf Course is beautiful. The grass is rather thick and high, and is definitely one of the most challenging courses in India. At parts, the greens are lightning fast & are invariably surrounded by heavy sand bunkers. The course is set in an undulating valley covered with thick groves of pine and rhododendron trees.
