Camels are beautiful. And they are quite a few there. Easy to observe. Youngsters nursing their moms. Old big ones gargling. They do sing in pack. The place is just this. Lots of camels to see. I enjoyed it.

Not many people visit this place because of lack of promotion of by the tourism department. It is supposed to be a national level research center on camels and providing vital information about their health and other details.

There is no information supplied to help you to understand what sort of research they are doing here. All you see are a heap of camels in pens. Not worth the visit.

It is a well-known center for camel research and many villagers bring their camels here fore check-up and treatment. This research center is one-of-its kind and you get to learn lot about these desert ships - Camels. They are the pride of Rajasthan.

One can get all the information about camels in this place. Museum was very informative. "Camel Milk Kulfi" is worth trying. Though the canteen in the research centre offers many products made out of camel milk like tea, coffee etc. but I liked kulfi.

Not an essential part of a Bikaner visit but some extra fun if you have time. Was lovely to learn more about camels and see them being milked. You can also buy camel milk products.
