A wonderful experience. The Fort is a living Fort with a thriving community within its walls is an architectural wonder. You can walk the narrow clean alleys with shops and restaurants everywhere. The people were very friendly and not too pushy. Shopping well amazing if that is your thing.

Near about 5000 thousand people are living in this fort, there is nothing much remaining historical there. too much pollution is there. The view of city is nice from top of the fort.

It's a living fort, lot of people and chaos. Shops for tourists, however doesn't give a proper feeling of the fort since there are houses and people living there.

From the top of the fort you can have a bird eye view of entire Jaisalmer city. Inside the fort there is almost 500 years old jain temple and the carving on... More

Given Jaisalmer's history as an important trading town along the ancient silk route, the fort still retains it's bazaars, and are a beautiful reminder of the timelessness of Rajasthan.
