Wandering around an alley inside the Fort, we found this very nice haveli, with a reasonable entry price. We enjoyed discovering the life of rich merchants in a middle age city...

Nathmal ji ki haveli is one of the beautiful havelis in Jaisalmer. Beautiful architecture and design, it certainly impresses everyone. But it is written there that families stay in the haveli so entry to upper floors is not allowed. But I saw a local lady...More

Just another beauty, however doesn't even come close to Patwon ki haveli. Though quit beautiful, shopping hungry can explore near by houses for authentic rajasthani handloom work.

The history behind Nathmal Ji ki Haveli is very interesting. Especially the part where the left and right halves are slightly different from each other. Figuring out the differences was the best part.

These are actually havelis belonging to two different bros. at first glance the carvings seem uniform over the entire structure and its on keen observation that one notices the partition in between and the difference between the left and right side of the haveli

At best just click the pictures from outside and that's it. The architecture is interesting as you can see the 2 brothers doing their bit and its similar and yet dis similar at places.

The owner of this building is the most unfriendly person I've ever met. For going in the building you must buy something in the shop and you are not allowed to have a look. I spoke just 10 seconds with my mate and the owner...More

An Haveli built to display wealth and power, it is very impressive from the outside with ornate carvings and 2 huge elephants. I wouldn’t bother paying to enter but if part of your tour then it is worth briefly pottering around. It is more a...More
