Kumbhalgarh is a hidden gem, less talked about than Chittor and other forts, this is definitely one of the more imposing forts in Rajasthan. A long perimeter wall is what catches your eye first. The fort is relatively well maintained, clean and easy to climb, though...More

A truly remarkable piece of architecture in remote Rajasthan. The engineering skills required to conduct such am mammoth undertaking so long ago highlights the richness of Indian culture in years gone by. Not to be missed if your travels take you to Rajasthan.

Amazingly well kept fort, one of the largest fortress walls in the world, second only to the Great Wall of China (appox 38km long). It was recently designated as one of the UNESCO's heritage sites. Need I say more?
