This place is absolutely mesmerising and a must visit if going North Sikkim. Lake is absolute beauty. You might suffer mild nausea due to high altitude.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations correctly suits this majestic lake in the north Sikkim. We were completely spell bound by the beauty of the lake and it's surroundings. Lack of oxygen creates lack of vegetation which makes a completely different terrain on the...More

Awesome route & great destination. It is at an altitude of approximately 18000 feets, so very less oxygen. All people with breathing problem please skip this place from your itinerary. I don't have words to describe it but this place is not for all.

It's a holy lake. I don't think they would allow walking on the lake. Besides, it may be risky. You can walk around the lake, but perhaps not all around it. Time and lack of oxygen will not permit that.
