Our second visit, this time at sunset just as spectacular an incredible sight to behold. This time we caught a battery operated cart to the gates which was great however when we exited after 5.30pm there were not enough carts operating many standing idle, thus we had a long walk back to the car park. With ones ticket you receive... More

Once you get past all the people trying to offer you a ride to the gate or guide you round the site it is lovely. Our driver had warned us to be careful and not be taken in, it is not necessary to have a guide. There are loads of people but it is a must to see.

It was my first vist to the Taj and it was one the most memorable trips of all time. The best construction and super carving on the marble was the highlight of the 'TAJ MAHAL'.

What can I say, magnificent building. Beyond compare, the grounds were enhanced by the British when they put in the gardens. The interior is not as impressive as the exterior and photograph is not allowed in there. So opulent, all the intricate designs in the marble. I was lucky to be there on a clear day - loved this place.

Please take note of the queuing system and ensure you are in the correct que as they feed into the security screening which naturally there are male guards for the men and females for the women!! Quite breath taking!!! Despite having seen the pictures prior to visiting nothing compares to the actual experience of being there! We had 2 visits... More

The process of getting tickets and then going through security was a bit chaotic, but the experience was so worth it. We went first thing in the morning (in line for tickets at 6am, in line for security by 6:45). If you are in a group with travellers of the same sex, I suggest getting someone to get in the... More
