I had the privilege of seeing a weaving demonstration at Mughal Carpet last week in Agra, India. Mr. Adil Khan was so gracious in describing the process as well as the historical and spiritual significance of the designs within each rug. Each rug that was shown revealed a deep reverence for tradition and quality. Every rug was superb with respect... More

What followed was they showing us a few carpets and we genuinely wanted to buy one but... More

I am very much into handmade carpets and I have several from India. When I was recently there at another craft store Zainub Marble Exports, Mr. Abid Khan the owner suggested this carpet shop for good prices and good selections. I'm always in for a good look see at carpets. I had been worried that the handmade carpet business was... More

We visited Mughal Carpet last year in february. We bought a very nice rug for our livingroom. Months later we wished for another rug just like the first one - but custom made. We sent a mail to Adil with the meassurements and pictures - and now we have received our second rug, just as we requested. Payment and shipping... More

It is really good experience and opportunity for us to be demonstrated by one of the best staff on how to make the Persian carpet in traditional way with traditional equipment. We also got a chance to try on our... More

Tour guide took us there.Hotel should have given us prior knowledge of visit earlier instead of just adding on during the day.As a result we were unprepared as I would like to. "It is the real deal the carpets are beautiful" we will purchase once we return home and can check colours and measurements. Lovely people.

Wonderful hospitality from Adil and Imran whose business supports villages, uses no child labour and produces the most beautiful carpets. Learned how carpets are made and with no pressure to buy, really enjoyed this experience. I did purchase and my carpet was home before I was. Well worth a visit for textile lovers and for anyone who appreciates beauty.
