The location is famous for blue pines. What makes the place popular is its proximity to Delhi. It’s 2 hours drive from Kotdwara.

Lansdowne is a place where as you enter you feel proud to be indian, a must visit for patriotic people. This place have amazing temples with vibrant history, amazing cliff tops and one of the best cantt. areas of India.

It was very cold their, if anyone is planning to go their in the month of November then pack your bags with all warm clothes and be prepared to face freezing nights.

A great getaway option for weekends. the roads are pretty good which makes the journey more amazing. The stay is good and since the place is not much crowded it is a good option for relaxing.

There is nothing to explore. The only part which is drive from Lansdowne to Tarkeshwar Temple which is 30+ kms makes it average destination. Complete road journey till lansdowne doesn't excite at all. I have travelled to Leh, Dharmshala, Dalhousie, Nainital, Manali, Shimla and many...More

Rainy season in hills are always risky. So better be take care. If you have some good past experience of driving in hilly area. Then u can try Else dont take risk.
