The Buddhist temple in the city is the best place to hang out with family. Specifically during winters when it is sunny

An excellent place to visit. It is green and very well maintained. The residence of the trainee monks on the right of the main compound is itself worth a visit.

Its is very calm and peaceful on the mountains. you will see good view of mountain. I suggest to climb the mountain near buddhist temple where you will find Buddha idol. the view from there is amazing.

Please see one of the pics which I took of the notice board with the timings. Uploaded with my review. However, as several reviewers have noted, they don't always follow these timings on all days.
