This is a perfect place for fabric hunting. There are many options, and pattern to choose from. The stores are all lined up and some has airconditioned. You can bargain but they won't reduce too much.

Jalan Sulawesi is a street containing numerous fabric shops. Each has a wide range of colourful batik and the vendors are not aggressive so you can browse easily. Indonesia is renowned for having the best batik in the world and it's all right here.
