Enjoyable day

Really had a fun and easy day cycling downhill with "John" our local guide. Lovely views along the way and a nice lunch at the finish. Great thing to do while in Ubud.

Started with incredible views across Lake Batur with a delicious morning tea (the fried bananas were delicious!) Ride is mainly downhill, really easy riding through rice fields, villages and Balinese countryside. There is some riding on some busy roads (only a tiny bit near the end). The lunch at the end was absolutely delicious! And they have the COLDEST Bintang... More

You've come to Ubud with kids. Done monkey forest, don't want to go to yoga... We - family with 12y son and 9y daughter - booked a downhill cycling tour down from Mt Batur's rim. Very good value for money: for 500k IRD (adult) you get a stop at coffee tasting, light breakfast with a vista over volcano crater, breathtaking... More

Fabulous day, lots of fun and sensational meal to finish the day. Almost 30km from Kintimani to Ubud and not too bad for a granny and grandpa in very hot conditions. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and our fellow travellers (newly weds from Malaysia) were great company.

This is a must to really experience life in the villages of Bali and learn about the culture and traditions, being mostly downhill it was not physically challenging so you don't have to be Olympic fit or anywhere near to do it! Great food, great company - especially our guide Okey who's knowledge and stories really made the day!! You're... More

Our group was seven, so we had our own guides. It was a long drive to Kinramani where the tour started. Fried banana and coffee for a snack was also good. It would pay to have a close look at the bike to select, as they do vary (pedal quality, cables, seat adjustment). We headed off on a downhill ride... More

Organised bike ride in morning and white-water rafting in afternoon incl. lunch on 11.01.2017 Bali Bintang arrived 45 minutes late for hotel pickup in the morning The tour arrived too late at white-water rafting company to take part in white water rafting. Essentially we drove around Bali for 5 hours just to do a 2 hours cycling downhill tour. Sorry,... More

I think this was my favorite experience in Bali. A shuttle picked us up in the morning, after that we went to have a little tea and coffee tasting at a coffee plantation, then the driver took us all the way up to the rim of the volcano crater, where we had breakfast with a magnificent view, and got our... Had a great time on this trip. It's a family run business and we were 2 of 5 people on the tour. We were picked up at 7.45am like they said, travelled to a coffee plantation, I love my coffee so I was excited. The coffee plantation wasn't anything special though and I didn't like the luwak's being caged. This... More

We throughly enjoyed our cycle tour with Bintang Bali Cycles and highly recommend this company. It's a wonderful way to see traditional Bali. For those readers who have young children the cycle is absolutely no problem - you can pay for a private tour which means a company van will follow behind and the sections of the road that are...
