About
Bali Pulina is a coffee plantation, where we can learn how to make the most unique coffee of the world. we can also see other different types of plant and trees like cocoa , coffee, coconut, and also rice terrace paddy as the view that we enjoy during drinking the coffee. Rather that it, we could also play the game as Giant Swing tree, Zip line, and swimming pool right in the middle of jungle. we also available the photo spot for you who like to take you selfie picture.

Having been to coffee plantation tours around the world, I can say that this one falls short. First of all, there is no coffee plantation. There are only a handful of coffee plants. (Coffee arabica grows at 2000-6000m elevation and this plantation is at 700m). Second, the coffee at the cafe tastes artificial. The ginger coffee, vanilla coffee, etc tastes like powder has been thrown into the coffee. On the upside, the banana fritters and sticky rice were good. The cafe is up high surrounded by trees and is scenic. Luwak coffee (coffee poop from the cat) tasted like any other coffee. The admission ticket 100,000 Rp includes 2 items from the menu and a tour.

We visited the coffee plantation yesterday and had a lovely guide who explained the whole process of preparing the coffee beans. The whole site is beautiful and there are lots of other tropical fruits and spices to see. There is a cafe at the end where you can sample their produce. My coffee was a little too bitter for me but I understand that my family members ice cream was delicious. It was a good experience and I would definitely recommend.

This is a nice tourist attraction. Youāll see some domestic plants and animals. The guide will explain you shortly the process of growing, harvesting and processing coffee beans. Youāll be served a selection of coffee for tasting (loved the ginger and turmeric coffee).
The place is nice and worth visiting. There are a lot of tourists so be prepared. Bring your swimming pants and have a cool down in the swimming pool (I didnāt know about it), but remember that the pool closes at 6pm.
DONāT RUSH - as the guide rushed through the plantation we had to stop him to ask questions. Just take your time!
Relax:)

I was finally able to visit Bali and immediately went on a car charter. I was looking forward to the spectacular view, but there are no longer any places where I can get a great view like I used to. .
Also, the free tasting of coffee in a small cup is no longer available, and if you want to sample it, you will have to pay 50,000 to 60,000 Rupiah. Luwak coffee was still 50,000 rupiah.
Anyway, I was disappointed because I was no longer able to relax and enjoy coffee while looking at the wonderful scenery stretching into the distance, which was my goal. It was 100,000 rupiah for Luwak coffee and coconut ice cream, and 115,000 rupiah if I paid by card.

A cup of Luwak coffee costs around 50,000. The tasting menu costs around too. It's worth trying. It's nothing special. The place is very beautiful and there is an explanation about coffee production. Worth the visit.

We thought this to be a quick stop during our day trip to Ubud but we ended up staying longer to soak in the view, relax and enjoy the teas, coffees and desserts.
The taster teas and cofees are complimentary. Luwak cofee is 50K.
We also tried the locally made coconut ice cream and the bana fritters. All were delicious.
The only downside for me was seeing luwaks in small cages.

First time here at Bali Pulina. We took the regular package for the tour, tour was a little shorter than expected but the guide that took us was patient and knowledgeable. The coconut ice cream was fantastic and we ordered a coffee and tea set to try different flavours. Interesting, insightful! They are very responsive over WhatsApp , so make your booking there!

After visiting the rice fields in Ubud, our Bali guide offered to take us over to the Bali Pulina plantation. Expecting to go there for refreshments, we were extremely surprised and entertained by our wonderful host in a tour of the plantation. Great explanations of the plants and biodiversity of the plantation. The tour of the tools used ā current and past ā was interesting. Finished off with a wonderful coffee and sweet rice snack relaxing on the large decking overlooking the valley. It made an enjoyable morning

Very neat experience! Great view to lookout and take photos and to sit and have a relaxed coffee and dessert.
If you want to see a traditional coffee field, this is not the place. This is much more about trying the coffee and just seeing an example of what the plants look like. No entrance fee and the coffee & tea samplers are complimentary. Other snacks and drinks are very affordable.

We booked the premium package in advance. When we got there, I mentioned that we have a booking. We were passed on to another person and then we were taken for the basic tour, which was not so great. The guide just pointed to the plants and equipment without a deeper explanation. We would have liked to know a bit more. Why have a booking system if its for nothing? Other than that, the area is nice and coffee and ice cream were excellent.

No, you just have to go to the guided tour and that's it.

Yes, the entrance is free. I have no idea, why there are few people saying it is 100.000 Rp as it is not true. Maybe they were ripped of by someone non-officially... If you go directly to the place, they will also tell you the entrancce is free and let you in...

Hi i would like to know more details about the trip to Bali Pulina. Like do you have any tour provided and approx how long should i be there and the transportation.
Written 8 January 2018
You will definitely need a driver to reach the area. And I was shown the grounds by the workers there. After that tour, you can sit in the cafe and try the coffees and teas. Great experience.

Hi, how much do we have to pay to get inside & join the coffee tasting? Thank you.
