Interesting to see how batik fabric is made

We had the opportunity to watch women weaving fabric and painting designs onto fabric, which was interesting. There is a large range of batik items to purchase in the showroom.

We stopped here our way to Ubud. We each purchased a few items. We both had a feeing we paid to much. We checked our purchases when we got to the hotel that night. We both found that they had added a scarf to each of our purchases that cost 880,000 Rp. We figured out how they did it. You pay... More

Batik Factory can be an interesting place for foreigners to learn. With muti-color cloths, you can find the one you like. Interestingly, the local do the weaving.

It's always good to soak in the culture of the land and this is one place that allows you to do just that. A must visit when in Bali .

The factory batik cloth and apparel do have the classic batik scent which comes from the dye they used. Overall, good value for good batik unlike the street markets. One can buy a plain T-shirt and... More

Stopped in on our way to other attractions, you can see how they make the Batik products and there is a huge hall full of product for sale - not really bargain prices - same things can be sourced from some of the bigger stores for less cost. If you are passing on the way to another event stop in... More

Our driver took us to this place when we requested to see batik artists.. Most of the stuff is overpriced as the designs are hand made and unique. My wife liked one of the dresses very much and we bought it.. the quality is much better than what you will get in the markets and the designs are very nice..the... More
