A monument to those killed in the 'Bali Bombings'. Stop if you are passing and share a thought/prayer for the victims and their families. No need to make a special trip though. It's a noisy area with a lot of traffic congestion. It's not a quiet and reflective spot.

This is a poignant reminder that terrorism did and does exist and to be aware of our surroundings at all times. It doesn't mean we run around like scared rabbits, I think it just reminds us that the world isn't as safe as it used to be. That being said, there is no need to run around Bali like a... More

This is very well designed and a tribute to this sad event. It is in the middle of Kuta on the main drag so the traffic is very bad. But a must see.

The photo looks better than what it is. This is a plaque for those that died in the horrific bombing of Sari Club. Good to pay respects, particularly if you are familiar with the history, but if you are looking for a site seeing opportunity I dont see any point?

This monument remains us about Bali bombing 14 years ago. I felt a great relief to see that this area has been re-crowded again after that bad thing happened. I don't know why, but when I was there, we couldn't go near the monument. There's guardrail around the monument, so we only can took photo from there.

I wanted to see the monument to pay our respects and I am glad I did so. It is good to see that the people who died on that dreadful day have a memorial here in Bali. It's not a site that gets a lot of people stopping as they pass by but it is good to see and reflect.

This monument is located in the middle of Denpasar city. It has a large garden and a big field for public gathering or other occasions. The place is crowded with people and there are many vendors along the road. We have to pay entrance fee to enter the museum but the place is not properly maintained.

Impressive monument for the 2002 bombing. Not a lot of tourists around it, but much traffic around. You'll spend a few minutes here, nothing major. Just good to visit.

Although we had previously travelled to Bali a number of times we had not returned since the attack at the Sari Club in 2002. We weren't looking for the Ground Zero Monument in Bali but happened to come across it in our morning walk around the shops so to come across the memorial was a little bit of a surprise.... More
