This is famous place. Always traffic at this point as the area is the junction for poppies lane II. Be careful of big pocket here. It just too crowded with tourist so cant get clear back ground of the monument. People are sitting by the monument and it doesnt look nice. No car park here, si must pop in and... More

Whenever i pass this area, i always made my time to enter the gate and read one by one name of the victims from 2002 Bali Bomb. This monument was build to honored people that gone on that tragedy. Around 300 people were killed. And some more still survive until this day. If you want to visit this place, make... More

The Balinese design of this monument, is testament to their feelings of sadness that so many died on that day, including innocent Balinese.

Strolling by this spot on my first night in Bali, it was a very humbling experience. The reality of how many peoples lives were taken by this disgusting act of terrorism hit very quickly. It's a very well displayed and looked after monument. I'm glad I got to stop by here, despite it leaving my heart feeling heavy thinking about... More

Always feel the sadness when visiting the memorial. Situated right on Legian Street it is a stark reminder of the people who lost their lives on that night the bombs went off in Paddys Bar just across the street . The site of the bar is still emply. The memorial is simple, beautiful and a tribute to those who lost their... More

Very sinful place but a must see as you can reflect where and what you were doing at the time. You can just stand there and feel the presents of the people who died and how the bali people reflect on the events on that day and the respect they have for all the people involved.

Took my two friends to visit this wonderful memorial last week. So nice to visit again and see the names up in bold. A touching tribute to those lost from all countries. You can feel the spirit of those around you

The thing I like about this place is that it's not overstated like some other memorials are. It's just a simple monument with the names of the victims of the bombing. Plus, you can easily see it without taking half your day.

Our lodging was just around the corner from this monument. We walk past it daily. It always gives pause as you look at the beauty of the façade above the starkly lettered plaque naming the nations who lost citizens and the names of those citizens. Gates are open to view the memorial during the day. It is illuminated at night.... More

For me this is a must visit in Bali to honor those who lost their lives and now in this monument. It is a time to reflect on not just the 88 Australians killed but all the other nationalities on the wall that changed everything in Bali. Since my last visit there has been alot of work and upkeep on... More
