If you don’t mind castrophopic shopping - then Come into the Ubud market. Be ready to haggle and you can pick yourself up all the typical Balinese gifts for a good price. Be sure to start haggling at 40% of what they first ask.

Pleasantly surprised with a mix of market and quality handcrafted goods made by locals. Was nice not having to barter in the stores.

Worth a walk lots of great shops and the markets have many souvenir options. The restaurants looked beautiful and inviting sadly I was still full from a late lunch. There was a lot of commotion near the royal palace preparation for an upcoming wedding.

We went to jalan Raya Ubud for some shopping after visiting sacred monkey forest. The street has many good shops with a wide range of products. We did some shopping from fippers, french toast, etc. Just walking on this street feels very nice.

We found a small local map helpful that the Ubud Village Tourist Centre has produced. From memory, I think it was even 'free'.
