This is a lovely find in Ubud. The batik is high quality and there are many different sizes and colours to see although indigo is their specialty. I found the staff very helpful and there was no pressure to buy but of course I did - a hand dyed indigo scarf that has already drawn several compliments.

Walked into Ikatbatik out of curiosity. What capture my eyes is that the indigo/blue batiks were gorgeously hanging on an empty hall way while men were renovating the front of the shop. Upon reaching the back of the shop I came across a full size living area with beautiful batiks hanging on the walls. And that's not it, I was... More

After days of weaving in and out of shops that all felt the exact same, we accidentally found this hidden gem on our walk about to the hotel. Everything is gorgeous, well made and unique. People complaining about price clearly don't buy interiors often.. these prices are affordable and you are paying for QUALITY. If you want something cheap, go... More

The previous reviews are on point, this place is a pleasure to visit, and it's hard to resist buying some of the lovely pieces for sale. I was not specifically looking for Ikatbatik after reading the reviews, mostly because of the well-documented pricey-ness. But I stumbled on it after visiting the Sacred Monkey Forest, and thought I'd take a peek...... More

My husband loved this place and his wallet was much lighter when we left. The indigo batik prints are classy and quite beautiful. I’m not sure there is another place in Ubud with this kind of quality and selection. The building is under renovation, but it still looks amazing. It’s expensive, but worth having a look even if you don’t... More

...however that didn't stop me from picking some up :). It's worth seeing the store, easily the most unique local products we saw in Ubud, and after such an unsuspecting entryway. The price was a bit steep, but I hate leaving a holiday without picking up something useful from the places I visit.

I wanted to come home with traditional Indonesian textiles and I found Ikatbatik through Trip Advisor. The shop is easy to find just around the corner from the Monkey Forest. The store fills 2 large rooms and the entrance walkway. The quality is very good and the selection is big. The prices are fixed but you do get a small... More

This is a great shop. Suggest you don't go there if you don't like blue! The ikat is really high quality as everyone says and really light so you can carry lots!

I loved this shop, with textiles in blue, cream and white. I wanted to buy everything, but it was quite expensive, so only bought a table runner and a silk chiffon scarf. Now that I am back on the other side of the globe, I regret not having bought more from this shop. Hopefully be back sometime. Service was very... More

Beautiful store with a narrow opening lined with their wall hanging textiles leading to a courtyard with two show areas of textiles. One mainly for bedding and indigo dyed textiles and the other for textiles whose color is different from indigo and contains wearable items such as scarfs. I spent a good two hours here deciding on a wall-hanging textile... More
