If you are exploring art in Ubud and would like to learn from an inspiring artist, then you should definitely visit Bruce Sherratt's Gallery. And do plan for at least 3 sessions as after you have completed one you would be so fascinated and curious to take the next step that you would like to stay for longer and come... More

I completed a 3 days course and I loved the experience. I had never taken any painting course but I will definitely come back soon for more lessons. Its a calm and fun experience that I would recommend to everyone. I did wet on wet painting, acrylics, oil,... I have some good notions now thanks to the great team!! Cant... More

This is a great day activity. I did the colour therapy session. You can do them in blocks if you are staying in Indonesia for longer. You get a great introduction into colour theory and learn how different colours compliment each other. You then learn how to harmonise colours through painting with water and strong powder pigments. Victoria and Bruce... More

I completed the Steiner Colour Theory course with Bruce and can't wait to go back. Fantastic space and so much to learn. Bruce and Victoria were both so friendly and helpful with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. I was inspired and have followed up with some of this work in my own school workplace. Great for your own personal growth... More

I did a 3 hr class with Bruce exploring colour and pigment inks. I asked to return 2 days later, to work with pastels. Brilliant. Loved this experience. This was such a good thing to do… so relaxing and brilliant to bring out an artistic side that I wasn't sure that I had. Proves I did have that artistic side.... More

Had an informative, relaxing, challenging, wonderful three hours learning about colour and experimenting with wet pigments. Bruce is a great teacher who entertains with many tales from his artistic career while you are learning and experimenting. Well worth it and will be back next year!

I attended one class and decided to pick up another one on the last day of my trip in Ubud. Bruce is an artist himself, at the same time a mentor in the field of art. I do not have much experience with art and painting but I enjoyed and learned, I knew I will be going back again. It... More

I was looking to do something artistic on my trip to Ubud and was glad I made the decision to go to BCAC. I was in the class with one other, Giulia a young student from Melbourne. Bruce took us through the Rudolf Steiners colour theory and then we were let loose to experiment with pastels. I struggled a bit... More

If you are looking to experience Bali in a creative, fun, deep & meaningful way then I would highly recommend BCAC. The coordinator is incredibly charismatic and obviously very experienced in his field. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. BCAC is very popular in Ubud and fittingly so as Ubud is considered one of the most artistic and... More

Our daughter took the IB art class. Bruce taught her new painting techniques and helped her with ideas to improve her college portfolio. The work she did at Bruce's studio has turned out to be some of her best work. Bruce also convinced my husband and I to join our daughter in a collaborative art piece. We have very little... More
