What a Great way to do shopping, especially for clothing and shoes. Pasa Baru Trade Center usually comes alive in the evening from 6pm to 10pm, so it was the best opportunities to buy very cheap clothes and accessories such as watches and ear ring etc .

Go early - as they open from 9:00 onward, thus 10:00am will be the best time to visit this place. Have a lovely breakfast at Braga Street and coffee from Kopi Toko Djawa before heading down to shop 'till you drop; You will need the energy. This is next to the Pasar Baru Square - diagonally opposite the road, thus getting GRAB is good enough which may cost about RP35000 (depending on where you GRAB from). Before you enter the building, there are many small stalls at the front which crowds the place - on the left is another entrance you can go into and on the right is another entrance where you can get local snacks. So, take your pick on which to explore first. Once in the building, there are 7 floors (7th floor being the car park area) the remaining are shops. If you already know what you want to buy, head to the lifts - you can see a directory of things sold on each floor, which makes you easier to find. Make sure to bargain! Some shops are selling the same goods but different brand/ manufacturer which provides different quality. Not all things are worth the value so its best to browse the quality first before purchase. A good place to purchase Batik apparels, apparel accessories and souvenirs. Probably will spend around 3 hours here to browse the things you're interested in - at least I did! ekeke...

Cheap and affordable things to shop including batik. It's stuffy, like a maze and crowded, but the place for a good bargain

I thought my trip would have been a waste, but I truly enjoyed shopping for Batik and more in Pasar Baru. Though not the best of quality, variety and affordability are the plus points in shopping here. Just make sure to have the best art of bargaining... you're good to go!

A must place to visit at Bandung. The famous Pasar Baru offers varieties of clothes (Lantai 3), Shoes, souvenir, local food and many more. Do becareful with your wallet. Handbag should be place in front. Use you bargaining power here. It is a crowded place so please take extra careful with your children

I absolutely love this place and there is so many beautiful clothes at a cheaper price than Singapore but not cheap by Indonesia standards. I got a batik dress SGD$18, a long floral purple weave skirt SGD$10 and a small brown bag pack SGD$ 6. Its so hard to bargain with them so I don't shop as much as I would like and they doesnt seem so interested to sell you. People smoke indoors and there is people following you around to sell you souvenirs which make the shopping experience stressful. Overall, its still worth a visit if you love batik or Malay/Indo clothes.
