This temple is situated on hills area of Solo. I love the fresh air. The temple itself is quite small with beautiful carvings here and there (incl lingga yoni / genitalia - PG rated). A good place to check if you’re history buff. Unfortunately just...More

This temple is extremely interesting. Although it is not in Bali, to enter one must wear a sash which is provided along with the ticket. Carvings are in super condition, except for the Garudas which are headless.

It is a rare place in Indonesia where the place is still clean and well maintain. It is in a high ground so you can have a good view.

This temple is on a mountain terrace with a wonderful view. Best to go in the morning and enjoy the cool air there. You will need to wear a special kind of cloth before entering the grounds available at the ticket booth.

This is worth a visit, as long as you don't have huge expectations - and you take the time to respects the culture behind it. It was built in the 15th century, as the Hindu power was waning. The design is (obviously) quite unique from...More

This a small Hindu temple that does not require climbing too many steps. You must wear a Sarong when entering the temple area. It looks like a Mayan Temple and has some beautiful carvings on the the left side before you reach the temple. Easy...More

It was a nice temple, but it didn't wow us. Have to pay 25k to enter which isn't too unreasonable, then they make you wear a scarf thing which you of course have to make a donation for. Scarf was shorter then the shorts I...More
