When we exited the building we were drawn to several aircraft that visitors were allowed to sit in. I became a pilot in a small single engine propeller aircraft while my friend... More

Indeed many interesting airplane are preserved in the IAF museum but all are in bad physical shape and not well maintained, the feeling is that the museum is pretty abounded and forgotten. Only for real aviation fans that can spent half a day around out of service B707.

We went to the Hatzerim Israel Airforce Museum on a day with no other visitors. This is more than great. We had a good guide and enough time to get the most out of this museum

Worth a visist if you've never been. It's more exciting for young children and aviation enthusiasts. Some of the planes must go through some maintenance
