The minaret of this mosque is a Jaffa landmark. It can be seen all over Jaffa, and beyond. It is situated close to the sea, at the base of the bluff upon which Old Jaffa sits.

This place does not extend its invitation to non-muslims. It is a shame because the minaret of this mosque is a Jaffa landmark. Looks pretty on photos.

The Muhamadiya Mosque in old Jaffa, on the way from the clock tower up the hill to St. Peter's Church is a wonderful mosque and oldest one in Jaffa. Its building goes back to the 1730ies.

I would make a review, but they wouldn't let me inside in any case. Not something to make a special trip to see.

Unless you are Muslim, you can't go in...included as part of a walking tour of places to stop and see, this is worth a look, but it's not a long one as only the outside/facade and washing areas are visible. Still part of the interesting mix of cultures and religions that make this city of interest.

The gates to the mosque are usually closed and it isn't open to visits unless they are pre-arranged. Its beauty is hidden behind the outer walls but once inside it is overwhelmingly beautiful and serene. There are many antiquities within the walls also.

Whilst spending a day in Jaffa I thought i'd drop in the mosque. I dont believe it was opened to all general tourists, as there was a no entry sign on the door, i assume because it was close to prayer time and they were keeping room for prayer-goers. Being Muslim myself I was allowed in just so i could... More

There's really nothing great about this mosque, located by the seashore of Tel Aviv. It is not unique nor interesting, plus - it is not well maintained. Skip it, as it's not worth your time.
