This walk was amazing! It is quite a steep climb and hard in the heat but it is well worth it. The views are the top were incredible and the peace on entering the monastery is amazing.

the view of the monastery on the edge of the mountain as we approached it via the cable car was awesome, then walking through the monastery itself was even more amazing. This was the most memorable place I visited - still speechless...

We walked up the stairs to this monastery, which proved to be good exercise! If you struggle in this regard, the views from the restaurant are as good. That said, you would miss seeing the monastery which has been shaped from the rock face. There...More

Took the cable car up to the mount and visited the monastery up the top- which was amazing. Also had a lovely lunch at a restaurant with views overlooking Jericho. Took the cable car back down. Easy and well worth a visit!

You can walk up the mount or use the cable car. We used the cable car and then climed about 80 stairs up to the convent.

The monastery was closed when I went there, but the view is fantastic. It's good to spend some time enjoying the silence, contemplating the view and thinking about the meaning of the place for Christians.

For us, visiting the Monastery of the Qurantul/the Mount of Temptation Monastery began as somewhat of a challenge. We had limited time during a busy day, a rental car that was not insured for Palestinian controlled areas, and it was our first visit to Israel....More

A great place to visit...a good side trip from Jerusalem...only 20 minutes away. Take cable car to the top if you aren't a hiker. Amazing views...

Al monasterio no se cobra entrada. Sí se paga el teleférico pero es un valor simbólico.

También se puede acceder al monasterio por un camino que contorna toda la montaña sin subir al teleférico. De hecho es utilizado por muchos peregrinos!
