Nazareth Village is a living history farm and village that gives you the opportunity to experience what Nazareth was like at the time of Jesus and Mary. • Stand in our synagogue, an exact replica of the one where Jesus taught. • Watch olives from the farm pressed into oil. • • Talk to the carpenter and weaver as they create their wares. • Walk with the shepherd taking care of the sheep and goats. • See an authentic wine press actually used during Jesus’ time. • Learn about the different seasonal activities like threshing wheat, picking olives and shearing sheep through our guided tour. • Complete your experience with a delightful first century Biblical meal served by our villagers in a beautiful setting. * All tours are guided only. * A reservation is strongly recommended to ensure your place on a tour.

Nazareth Village is located in the heart of the city but it takes you back in time 2000 years. The walking tour has several stops where the "workers" are dressed in period clothes. The stations show how olives were crushed into oil as well as...More

One of the highlights of our visit to the Holy Land. I loved the detailed tour that we had and meeting all the characters (esp Hannah). The design of the facility really helps one better understand old bible times.

With the knowledgeable and witty guide Paul, it was like walking through and living in the village Jesus lived. We even met a shepherd and St. Paul! Kudos to Nazareth Village’s builders.

Enjoyed a great meal and tour of this recreated Nazareth, led by guide Yosef. Still in developmental stages, our group decided the “buy a brick” for $120 to commemorate our visit and help this fledgling attraction get established. Worthwhile stop.

This was a visit on way out from Nazareth and really glad we went. It is interesting and informative and the people are delightful. Even the shop is different with lots of on site made goods. Well worth a visit.

Though it is considered to be the Arab capital of Israel, it is of great Biblical significance.Infact Jesus had spent his childhood days here and the Saint Joseph's Church is practically built where Joseph had his carpenter's workshop.
