This city has a lot more to offer (restaurnats, churches, and so on) but this church is a must see and the heart of the visit. If you can - be there for the Christmass. You'll need to secure tickets in advance with the local branch of the ministry of tourism.

Charming display of mosaics of the Virgin donated by different country, interesting archeological remains, and the pilgrims themselves are worth a view.

If you want to see where the whole "story"started before reading The Book ... the cave supposed to be where Jesus ' mother lived. Interesting building around it.

A really beautiful place, a shrine as much as a church. Nazareth is a very busy place and be prepared for the plethora of hawkers outside on the street waiting for the tour buses to flog their wares. But once you are inside the church it is very serene and reverend despite the crowds. Try to get here as early... More

This church is immaculate and it is very interesting to see the underground cave of where Jesus is said to have been born. I feel anyone would find this Church of interest.

Amazing, touching, a hommage to traditional people of Nazareth and their faith, and to the conviviality and pluralism inherent to Palestinian society.

This big and modern church was one of the highlights of our Nazareth visit. One of the most interesting things there is that they have a collection of paintings (though not all of them are exactly that) of Maria from all around the world, so you get a glimpse of how each country sees Maria in their own eyes.
