The walk up will only take about 10 mins from where the bus is parked. Came here in Jan and there are beautiful yellow and purple flowers! At the top of the Mt Arbel you can see the sea of Galilee. In the Bible, here is where Jesus went up to pray and saw the disciples in the boat caught... More

From here you can see just about the entire sea. The view is incredible. It's a short hike (about 1/4 mile) from the parking lot with a hill to walk up. If you bring kids you will need to keep them close as the drop off the cliff is severe. Amazing, amazing view!

If your can visit Arbel National Park in the Spring time and climb to the caves I give this park a 5. The views were amazing on a crystal clear day and the wild flowers were a splendid addition. The cave system/fortress was impressive. If it is a hazy day and you are not going to hike to the cave... More

We started our climb to Mt. Arbel at Wadi el Hamaam, a small village near the mountain. We left our car at the entrance to the village in a small parking lot and started the climb. Pleasant shady trail took us to the foot of the 400 m climb. After an hour of climbing we got to the Arbel caves.... More

If you are in the Lake Tiberias area it is worth a stop. Great views. Guides are around to walk with you and explain history. Food and souvenirs are available.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit this amazing site while in the Galilee. The hike to the top of Mt. Arbel is possible for even novice hikers. Once at the top, the view overlooks the Golan Heights and over the Sea of Galilee. In the springtime, the wildflowers are beautiful. Take time to view the photographs and information at the... More

Good for hiking and breathtaking views! I went up in winter, weather changes very fast, one moment sunny next moment rainy, go prepared! A wind breaker cum raincoat is good to have.
