On the way to Nazareth and Jordan river you pay by at this huge water reservoir. Unbelievable how big this lake is! The surrounding area is great, the lacke is blue like the sky and you get the chance to stop by at the place where Jesus lived and went fishing.

The Sea of Galilee is very central to the biblical stories of the life and ministry of Jesus. It is a beautiful body of water and is the major water source for much of th eland of Israel. It was clear and clean and we could see from shore to shore while we were there.

There it sits as part of ancient and current history. The Golan Heights sit across the sea and I realized how important they are to Israel. We visited various places along the sea. Local children were swimming.

A must trip to this beautiful site. The water level in the beautiful Lake Kineret, reflects the national spirit of the people of Israel. The Kineret or Sea of Galilee is Israel's largest fresh water reservoir and is also the most important source of drinking water. A beautiful picnic spot too and must visit place. I loved it

We took a boat ride across the sea. It was peaceful and we could see Christian sites in the distance. As a pilgrim we were happy to be able to do it

You must experience a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. It is mesmerising to ride the same place Jesus was at over 2,000 years ago. Contact Daniel Carmel with The Faith Boat and you will not be disappointed. He is a Messianic Christian and will give you a wonderful memories as,you sail the Sea of Galilee with him and... More

We enjoyed the trip. The boat was open air and the weather was perfect. We crossed from Ein Gev and docked near Tiberias.

It was very moving for me to step into the Sea of Galilee. We wanted to take one of the boat rides but we were only here for a short time.

The Sea is beautiful with a lot of history. It has small beaches and boat trips. Go around the Sea by car to see all the greenery and great views.
