Just a few minutes drive from the Mission Lodge. Unfortunately the tea factory is closed till the end of May. We hung around the area though which was worth it due to the pretty views and serenity of surrounding nature.

We drove down the very winding road after a visit to the Mission Lodge lookout. Feeling a little jittery from holding on tightly as we edged along, we were looking forward to a visit to the Tea Factory. However, it is closed for the next...More

According to Google the factory is open and the gates are open as well. You can hear the people talking inside but nobody answers when you call. According to the neighbors the Tea factory is closed for a couple of months. Would have loved to...More

Only open from Monday to Friday to tour the tea factory. The garden is open at weekends so you can see the views from the garden. The factory, however, is closed. Offers simple local tea in orange, mint ,lemon, vanilla and cinnamon flavours

The road to this factory from town reminds me of Munnar in Kerala, India. A perfect hill station with curvy roads. A nice place with good view of many beaches and islands. The tea factory is very small with 3 machines in each section. You...More

It is a nice small tea factory to visit, but is closed during the weekends. Yet you can go inside to walk around the buildings. Provides you with great views of the sea at a higher elevation.

Very small factory with few staff standing as a small museum as well. There is a shop outside of factory with millions of different teas!

A very small factory with a obligatory guided tour was worth the trip. The tour costs 25 Rp and shows the process of tea making and some of the history of the site. View from the factory is great!

Well their sign says Monday through Saturday 9am to 4pm...(as do many island guides) but - though they leave the gate open so you can at least enjoy the views - there was nobody about. I suspect they are there sometimes since it's not entirely...More

No reservation needed for the tour. I was there in May. Tour is self guided. Not much to see. I would skip the tour. They do sell tea which is very good. The view of the coastline alone is worth the stop.
