Large and not crowded beach. White sand, very blue sea and typical granite boulders. Amazing place to take pictures. When we visited sea was quite rough, not good for swimming.

It is worth a visit. The beach is lovely and there is a free car park with a water tap to wash your legs and feet before getting back into your vehicle. This beach is famous for the exciting big waves which will knock you...More

It's a beautiful beach. We couldn't swim because the water was very rough. August is probably not a good time to go there if you plan to swim. There were hardly 6-7 people on the beach. Good place to chill!

The access to the beach is a narrow road and may be missed. It is the same road that leads to Banyan Tree Resort. The beach is nice and clean but swimming is prohibited in August as the currents are pretty rough. Good place to...More

We found the beach sand to be extremely soft, one of the softest on the Seychelles. Unfortunately, the beach had no natural shade whatsoever, so we were unable to stay for long. Sunglasses are a must as the glare was quite strong too. There are...More

I planned to explore Intendance and Takamaka beach together since it was in the same driving area. The beach was deserted. You can reach by bus as well but having a car makes it 10 times easier to reach and enjoy. Deserted beach, yes. Amazing...More

The most beautiful crystal clear waters anywhere. Warm. Slight current and a little choppy but fantastic. Also a turtle egg laying beach. Down in the south of the island of Mahe. Can be accessed by public transport relatively easily but a hire car would make...More

You can access it easily without any problem. Just bear in mind, that there are no beach facilities around (e.g. showers, toilets, food stalls), so you will have to take everything you need with you.

There are no facilities of any kind anywhere near this beach, except for one hotel. You will have to search elsewhere. It is still worth visiting though, because it's beautiful.

Hi Amran, We loved Praslin but we stayed there 5 days, exploring all the corners of it. You can use the local bus to go around but you can hire a car as well. I used steppe car hire, really good car and service, they... More
